The Summer School will host up to 25 participants, mainly first- and second-year PhD students. Each EPHAR member society is invited to nominate one candidate.

In 2021 YIA was won by

• Iñaki Robles Vera - Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares Carlos III (CNIC), Madrid, Spain
